The Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing (ATIM) Cluster is inviting Irish manufacturers, SMEs, technology providers, and innovation stakeholders to participate in the SME & Clusters Assembly 2026, scheduled for 2-4 November in Dublin. This landmark event, themed "Connecting for a Competitive Europe," merges the European SME Assembly and the European Cluster Conference into one flagship forum, bringing together European policymakers, entrepreneurs, cluster managers, investors, and innovators to discuss the future challenges and opportunities of enterprise.
The Assembly presents a unique platform for Irish enterprises to build international connections, gain access to knowledge and expertise, influence policy, and highlight Ireland's innovation capabilities. Central topics include competitiveness, artificial intelligence, market access, resilient value chains, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The event also features networking and matchmaking sessions designed to foster collaboration between SMEs and cluster organisations across Europe.
Hosted by Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), ATIM is Ireland's national cluster for advanced manufacturing and a pilot participant in the International Cluster Impact Programme. Since its inception in 2021, ATIM has grown to over 100 members, uniting manufacturers, technology providers, research bodies, educators, and policymakers to enhance competitiveness through collaboration. Interested organisations can register via the European Commission’s portal, noting that attendance is limited and subject to approval, with typically one participant per organisation accepted.
