Energy retrofitting truck roadshow to visit South Dublin

South Dublin County Council will host a dedicated Near Zero Energy Building information truck from Monday 19th October to Friday 30th October. Residents across the county will have a unique opportunity to explore how advanced energy upgrades can make their homes significantly warmer, more comfortable, and more efficient. The retrofit roadshow will initially visit Corkagh Park during its first week before moving to Tallaght Stadium for the final days of the exhibition.

Visitors will be guided through the essential aspects of domestic retrofitting, including how to decipher a Building Energy Rating report and discover the most effective energy measures available. The mobile unit will also showcase renewable technologies and outline the various grant pathways designed to make green home improvements much more affordable for local homeowners.

Whether planning minor energy-saving adjustments or a comprehensive deep retrofit, attendees can expect practical guidance and tailored advice to kickstart their projects. Walk-ins will be warmly welcomed throughout the fortnight, with specific opening hours detailed on the official event registration pages for both Corkagh Park and Tallaght Stadium.
