The National Transport Authority (NTA) has announced significant disruption to many bus routes in central Dublin alongside some Luas Red Line services between Tuesday 10th and Friday 13th November. These interruptions coincide with two major EU Presidency events being held in the city.
The ninth European Political Community (EPC) meeting is scheduled for 12th November at the National Convention Centre Dublin, followed by the Informal meeting of EU Heads of State or Government (iEUCO) on 13th November. Additional related activities will take place at the National Gallery on Merrion Square.
An Garda Síochána will enforce a security cordon around these venues, resulting in road closures and considerable public transport disruption. Passengers are advised to plan journeys carefully, allow extra travel time, and consult the Transport for Ireland website or their transport operator’s updates before travelling. Further information can be found at www.transportforireland.ie and respective operator websites.
