Dublin Bus is advising passengers to expect delays and plan accordingly from Tuesday 10 November until Friday 13 November, as Dublin welcomes two major international summits during Ireland’s EU Presidency. Heightened security operations across the city will restrict access and movement in several areas, leading to road closures and diversions affecting bus services.
Passengers should anticipate temporary unavailability of some bus stops and revised city centre termini to accommodate these changes. Dublin Bus is collaborating closely with An Garda Síochána, Dublin City Council, and the National Transport Authority to minimise inconvenience and ensure services continue running as smoothly as possible during this period.
Customers are encouraged to plan journeys in advance, allow extra travel time, and regularly check the Dublin Bus website or use the TFI Live app and TFI Journey Planner for real-time updates. A comprehensive list of diversions, temporary termini, and service impacts will be published later today, with ongoing updates provided via Dublin Bus’s social media channels.
