Cuala produced a stunning display of dominance to clinch their second Dublin Senior Football Championship title in three years, overwhelming Castleknock with a final score of 3-15 to 1-6 at Parnell Park.
The Dalkey side, reigning AIB All-Ireland champions as recently as early 2025, were spearheaded by Con O'Callaghan who delivered an exceptional performance, scoring two goals and five points. After a brief early setback, Cuala surged ahead with an electrifying 1-9 streak without reply, effectively sealing the contest well before the final whistle. Jamie Conroy’s late goal further emphasised their superiority.
Contributions from Eoin Kennedy, Charlie McMorrow, and veteran captain Michael Fitzsimons, who each added two points, underlined the team’s collective strength. With the hurlers also eyeing a senior county final, Cuala are poised to chase a remarkable double. Their next challenge awaits on 1 November at Parnell Park in the Leinster club SFC against Offaly champions Tullamore, where they will hope to replicate their commanding first-half display.
