VistaMilk Explore launches to boost Irish agri tech innovation
VistaMilk Research Ireland Centre recently announced the launch of VistaMilk Explore, a pioneering AgriTech innovation hub aimed at assisting innovators and companies in developing, testing, and commercialising agricultural technologies. Situated at Teagasc Moorepark in County Cork, the facility provides direct access to top-tier agricultural researchers, advanced laboratory and farm infrastructure, and tailored business guidance.

This new initiative is structured around a phased testing model that allows innovators to engage at various stages of technology development—from early proof-of-concept trials through to large-scale validation within both research settings and commercial farms. A dedicated VistaMilk research technician supports participating businesses by coordinating trials, gathering data, and ensuring efficient evaluation of technologies under authentic farming conditions.

Building on VistaMilk’s reputation as Ireland’s national centre for pasture-based dairy science and digital innovation, the programme is co-funded by Research Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. Alongside scientific expertise, participating companies can connect with the Local Enterprise Office Cork North & West for practical business advice including mentoring, training, and access to financial supports. Interested innovators are encouraged to reach out via [email protected] to explore testing opportunities.
