New homes available through choice based letting
South Dublin County Council has opened applications for a selection of properties available via the Choice Based Letting (CBL) scheme from 28 August to 1 September 2026. Interested parties should note that expressing interest could result in a formal housing offer.

Applicants are reminded that refusing two offers within a 12-month period will lead to suspension from the housing list starting from the date of the second refusal. Due to the high demand and processing volume, successful candidates will be contacted as soon as possible, and the council requests no direct enquiries about application status at this time.

The properties currently advertised include three-bedroom two-storey houses in Clondalkin at Melrose Green, Lealand Avenue, and Kilmahuddrick Avenue, all re-let by South Dublin County Council with parking facilities. Additionally, a two-bedroom first-floor apartment in Russell View, Tallaght, is also available under the same scheme.
