Ambitious women invited to join growth programme
Going for Growth is calling on ambitious female owner-managers across Ireland to apply for its 19th cycle, inviting them to join a supportive network of peers dedicated to business growth. Since its inception in 2008, over 1,200 women have benefitted from this award-winning programme, which begins with an intensive six-month period but extends its support throughout the entrepreneurial journey.

This year’s programme, supported by Enterprise Ireland, KPMG, and Manverton, opens its application window today with a deadline of midnight on 27 November. The cycle will run from January to June 2027, starting with a Launch Forum on 13 January in Dublin. Participants will meet monthly in small round-table groups led by experienced female entrepreneurs who volunteer as Lead Entrepreneurs, sharing their insights and fostering peer learning.

The enduring community ethos is reflected by the fact that nine out of eleven Lead Entrepreneurs this year are former participants, including notable figures such as Caroline Reidy, Jeananne O’Brien, and Vanessa Creaven. Beyond the initial programme, alumni can join Continuing the Momentum round tables to maintain peer support and focus on further growth goals. Jenny Melia, CEO of Enterprise Ireland, emphasises the importance of this initiative in supporting women-led businesses to scale, create jobs, and enter new markets.
