Essential maintenance works will close the L-5010 Cashelbane road between Corratober Upper and Sruhanagh from Monday, 19th October until Friday, 30th October, between 8am and 6pm each weekday. The closure, confirmed by Cavan County Council, aims to address structural concerns and ensure long-term safety for road users in the area.
Motorists will be guided along clearly marked diversion routes to bypass the affected section. Northbound traffic will follow the R-200-1 eastwards before rejoining the L-1008-0, while southbound drivers will take the reverse route. Local access will be maintained where feasible, though delays are anticipated during peak hours.
All queries regarding the works should be directed to SECTO at 087 253 2417. Further details are available on the official Cavan County Council website.
