Dublin Bus implemented a temporary diversion on Tuesday 8 September 2026 between 08:30 and 09:15 due to a road closure on Leeson Street Lower. This affected Routes 11, 32X, 37, 41X, E1, and E2 travelling towards Sandyford Business Park, UCD Belfield, Wilton Terrace, Dún Laoghaire, and Ballywaltrim.
Instead of their usual path via St. Stephen's Green, buses were rerouted through Earlsfort Terrace, Adelaide Road, Leeson Street Bridge, before rejoining their normal route. During this period, stops 845 and 846 on Leeson Street Lower were temporarily unavailable.
Passengers were advised to use alternative stops at Stephen's Green East (stop 842), Stephen's Green North (stop 790), or Merrion Square West (stop 2905). Services heading towards Phoenix Park, Malahide, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Swords, Harristown, and Northwood continued along their normal routes without alteration.
