On Tuesday 8 September 2026, significant bus route diversions will be implemented from 19:00 until approximately 21:45, owing to the Docklands 5K event in Dublin.
Route 151 buses heading towards Docklands will divert from their usual path at Eden Quay, travelling instead via Amiens Street, North Strand, Annesley Place, East Wall Road, and East Road before rejoining the standard route. Buses on this route towards Foxborough will maintain their normal course.
Routes 60, G1, and G2 travelling towards John Rogerson's Quay and Spencer Dock will follow their usual route to Eden Quay but then divert via Beresford Place, Matt Talbot Memorial Bridge, Moss Street, Shaw Street, and Pearse Street, where they will terminate. In the opposite direction towards Red Cow Luas and Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, these routes will depart Pearse Street, divert via Tara Street, and then resume their normal routing.
The N4 route towards Point Village will run normally up to East Wall Road, after which it will divert via Sheriff Street Upper, terminating at stop 7705 on Castleforbes Road. For journeys towards Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, services will depart from stop 7705, divert via East Road, and then return to the usual route.
Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and allow extra time during the event period. Updated route information and stop locations will be available on the official Dublin Bus website.
