Four Roads and St. Dominic's reach hurling final
Four Roads remain firmly on track for an historic fifth consecutive Kepak Roscommon SHC title following a pulsating victory over Oran at St. Aidan’s GAA club. In a contest that tested their resolve to the absolute limit, the champions edged out their opponents 2-18 to 1-20. The match was decided in the dying embers of stoppage time when Conor Morris expertly converted a sideline free, ensuring Four Roads avoided the lottery of extra-time and booked their spot in the final.

The semi-final was a tactical battle of attrition, with Liam Óg Coyle’s clinical finishing and Noel Fallon’s precise restarts proving vital for Four Roads. Despite Oran’s impressive second-half surge, spearheaded by the defensive resilience of Declan Leonard and Eamon Kenny, the champions held firm. Paddy Fallon’s eleventh point of the day had momentarily levelled proceedings, but the late intervention by Morris proved the difference in a high-octane encounter.

In the other semi-final, St. Dominic's demonstrated remarkable character to overcome Tremane. Trailing early in the second half, they revitalised their performance with two crucial goals from Jack Lohan and Mickey Joe Egan within a frantic three-minute window. Supported by the long-range accuracy of Mark Miley, St. Dominic's pulled away to secure a comfortable finish. They now look ahead to a repeat of the 2024 decider against Four Roads, with full fixture details available on the official GAA website.
