The 2026 Amgen Irish Open is scheduled to take place at Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Doonbeg, County Clare, from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th September. An Garda Síochána warmly welcomes the thousands of spectators, staff, volunteers, and media who will gather along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way coastline for this prestigious golf tournament.
To ensure a safe and efficient experience, those attending are advised to follow the comprehensive instructions provided by the DP World Tour and Gardaí. Spectators must use one of the two designated Park and Ride facilities selected at ticket purchase, as there will be no general parking or pedestrian access near the golf course. Access to the event will be exclusively via shuttle buses from these Park and Ride sites.
Given the rural road network surrounding Doonbeg, attendees should allow extra travel time and adhere strictly to event traffic management plans. Gardaí will be present to direct traffic and maintain safety, encouraging visitors not to rely on satellite navigation and to follow signage and official directions. Security measures will include bag searches on entry, with only small carry-on size bags permitted. Spectators are urged to arrive early, minimise what they bring, and remain vigilant throughout the event to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
