Restrictions continue at University Hospital Kerry
The Health Service Executive (HSE) South West has reiterated that visiting restrictions are still in effect at University Hospital Kerry to help prevent the spread of respiratory infections.

Visitors are advised to limit their visits and carefully consider whether attendance is absolutely necessary. Individuals feeling unwell are strongly urged not to visit the hospital at all. Compassionate exceptions to these restrictions may be granted on a case-by-case basis through prior consultation with ward staff.

Specific rules apply to the Maternity Ward where one birthing partner or visitor is permitted, which includes the antenatal ward, delivery suite, postnatal ward, and gynaecology ward; children are not allowed to visit. Both parents are allowed access on the neonatal ward. These measures will remain until clinical circumstances allow for their removal.
