Passengers on routes 74, G1 and G2 should expect diversions this evening due to scheduled roadworks on Winetavern Street. These measures will be implemented from 19:30 until 05:00 on Thursday 22 October 2026 to facilitate essential maintenance work.
Route 74 heading towards Dundrum Luas Station will follow its normal path until Merchant Quay, then divert via High Street and Patrick Street before returning to its usual route. Travellers towards Eden Quay on the same route will experience no changes.
For routes G1 and G2, buses travelling towards Red Cow Luas and Liffey Valley Shopping Centre will proceed as normal to Merchant Quay before detouring via Bridge Street and resuming their standard route. Services heading towards Spencer Dock are unaffected by the diversion. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
