Between the evenings of 18 and 20 August 2026, roadworks on St Mobhi Road led to the temporary closure of Stop 40 located at Stella Avenue. This affected bus routes 19, E1 and E2, with the stop unavailable from 19:30 to 05:00 each night.
During these hours, passengers were advised to use an alternative temporary stop positioned outside the active work zone to ensure continued access to bus services. This measure aimed to maintain safety while minimising disruption for commuters.
Dublin Bus encouraged travellers to plan their journeys accordingly and to consult updated route information available on their official website or through customer service channels for any further updates regarding stop changes or service adjustments.
