Dublin Bus has announced a temporary rerouting for Route 120 scheduled for the night of Monday 19 October 2026. This adjustment is necessary due to ongoing roadworks on Rathborne Road, which will disrupt normal bus operations during the evening and early morning hours.
From 19:30 to 02:00, buses heading towards Ashtown Station will follow a diversion via Rathborne Drive, River Road, and Rathborne Avenue instead of the usual route along Rathborne Road. The route will terminate at stop 284 on Rathborne Avenue in Ashtown. Services travelling towards Parnell Square will continue as normal without any changes.
Passengers should note that stop 5145 on Rathborne Avenue in Ashtown will be out of service for the duration of the diversion. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and consult the official Dublin Bus website for the latest updates and travel information.
