Dublin bus routes face diversions due to street closure
Commuters travelling on several key Dublin Bus services will be impacted by temporary route changes following the closure of Molesworth Street in the capital. The diversions will come into effect from 09.00 hours on Tuesday 6 October 2026, affecting passengers using routes 37, 39, 39a, 44, and 70.

Services travelling towards Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Ongar, DCU, and Dunboyne will follow their normal routes up to St. Stephen's Green before diverting via Kildare Street to rejoin the standard path. Meanwhile, outbound services heading towards Wilton Terrace, Burlington Road, UCD Belfield, and Enniskerry will operate entirely as normal.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys while these temporary measures remain in place. Further updates and details regarding the schedule adjustments are available on the official website.
