The diversions will come into effect on Monday 26 October 2026, operating between 18:30 and 20:30 hrs to ensure public safety during the festive community celebrations in the city centre.
Services including Routes 7, 7a, and 13 travelling towards Mountjoy Square will operate normally before terminating early at Parnell Square North, with return journeys departing from the same location via Parnell Square East. Meanwhile, southbound buses on Routes 33, 41, 41b, and 41c departing from Lower Abbey Street will divert via Amiens Street, Five Lamps, North Circular Road, Belvedere Road, and Dorset Street before resuming their regular schedules towards Swords, Balbriggan, and Rolestown.
Commuters are advised to check real-time updates and allow extra time for their journeys through the capital during the evening. Further timetable information and service updates will be available on the official website.
