The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Helen McEntee TD, has warmly congratulated the Passport Service on securing the Best Innovation in CX award at the Irish CX Impact Awards 2026 for its Passport Assist service.

This accolade honours outstanding innovation in customer experience, with Passport Assist standing out for its personalised support to individuals facing challenges with passport applications or digital platforms. Launched in December 2025 as part of the Passport Reform Programme, the service simplifies the process, promotes digital inclusion, and ensures more citizens can confidently engage with Passport Online.

Minister McEntee highlighted that the award reflects the dedication of Passport Service staff who strive to enhance accessibility and service quality. The Passport Assist team offers tailored assistance through a helpline for applicants across the island of Ireland, guiding them through digital or paper application options to ensure a smooth and inclusive experience.
