Fingal County Council has officially commenced accepting applications for the Arts Act Grant Scheme 2027, with submissions open from 13 October until the deadline on 11 December at 4pm. This initiative aims to provide vital funding to individual artists, community organisations, and arts groups based in Fingal, supporting activities that enhance access to the arts and promote cultural growth throughout the county.
The 2027 scheme introduces three tiers of funding to ensure fair distribution: Band 1 offers up to €5,000, Band 2 up to €10,000, and Band 3 up to €15,000. Applicants must illustrate how their projects will actively involve Fingal communities and contribute meaningfully to the county’s cultural life. To assist potential applicants, Fingal County Council provides comprehensive guidelines, an application checklist, and a workbook designed to clarify eligibility and application requirements.
Additionally, the Arts Office will host online application clinics on Thursday 29 October from 1pm to 2pm and Thursday 12 November from 7pm to 8pm, with registration details to be announced soon. Further support and the application workbook can be requested via email at [email protected].
