The latest roadworks notices from Wicklow County Council detail planned closures and restrictions affecting motorists across the county. Residents and travellers are urged to prepare for delays, especially on the N11/M11 corridor and local roads in Baltinglass, Bray and Greystones.
On the N11/M11 between 7th September and 13th November, ongoing works will continue to impact traffic flow. In Baltinglass Municipal District, road surfacing on the R748 Carnew to Aughrim Road at Raheenglass, Coolboy and Carnew will take place from 17th to 25th September, with the road fully closed and traffic management in operation daily from 8:00am to 7:00pm. The five-day project is weather-dependent and local access will be maintained.
In Bray Municipal District, overnight works on the Upper Dargle Road are scheduled for 23rd and 24th September between 7:30pm and 6:00am the following morning. Wicklow County Council has assured that noise mitigation measures will be in place to comply with regulations.
