Vico Baths pathway reopened after essential repairs
The pathway to the Éire sign area at Vico Baths is now accessible again following temporary closure. Essential resurfacing works have been completed, though the bathing level remains closed for further repairs.

The temporary closure between the railway bridge and the iconic Éire sign area at Vico Baths has now been lifted, restoring full access to the walkway. Essential resurfacing works along the pathway leading to the swim platform have also been completed after recent disruptions.
The next phase of improvements will see 32 metres of new handrail installed along this stretch of walkway, with the old handrail set to be removed. Until all repair works are finalised, the bathing level will unfortunately remain closed to the public.
An official update on the reopening dates will be shared as soon as further progress is made. The council extends its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanks the community for their patience during these essential works.
