Last night marked the official launch of the 30th edition of A Season of Sundays, a treasured pictorial record of the GAA season, presented by the GAA President, Jarlath Burns.
For three decades, Sportsfile’s A Season of Sundays has beautifully captured the essence of Gaelic games through the lens of award-winning photographers. The annual publication offers a stunning array of images that celebrate the passion and drama of the sport, making it the perfect festive gift for any GAA enthusiast.
This year’s striking cover features Mayo captain Jack Coyne and his teammates jubilantly celebrating with the Sam Maguire Cup on Hill 16, a powerful contrast to the inaugural edition’s image of broken hurls by Brendan Moran. Publisher Ray McManus expressed heartfelt thanks to the Sportsfile team and caption writer Alan Milton for their dedication. GAA President Jarlath Burns praised the publication’s enduring significance, while Tom O’Brien of sponsors Forvis Mazars celebrated their ongoing partnership. The book is available nationwide and online for €29.95.
