Leinster House once again welcomed members of the public yesterday evening as part of the nationwide Culture Night celebrations. Opening the doors of Parliament offered citizens a unique opportunity to engage directly with the democratic process and explore one of the country's most culturally significant buildings.
Visitors enjoyed expert-led guided tours in both English and Irish, taking in the historic Dáil and Seanad Chambers alongside an impressive collection of parliamentary art. The evening was further enlivened by a rich programme of live entertainment featuring performances from the Malahide Pipe Band, BrandeD, Clann Mhic Giobúin, the Dawson Chorus Choir, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the Lady Desart Choir, and the Playlist Choir, alongside face painting for families.
While the event was fully ticketed with roughly 840 spaces allocated, attendees received commemorative Oireachtas tote bags or Dáil100 children's bags upon departure.
