The Fingal County Council Arts Office, in collaboration with MART Studios and Gallery, has officially opened applications for the 2027 graduate workspace residency. This initiative is designed to foster the professional development of emerging talent by providing a fully funded studio environment for a period of twelve months, commencing in January 2027.
The successful applicant will be granted a dedicated studio space at MART Studios in Rathmines, with all associated rental, utility, and administrative costs covered by the programme. Beyond the physical workspace, the residency offers an invaluable platform for artists to refine their practice, engage with a vibrant community of fellow creatives, and build meaningful professional networks within the Irish arts sector.
Applications are invited from artists across all disciplines who completed their undergraduate or postgraduate studies between 2023 and 2026. To be eligible, candidates must currently reside in, originate from, or have completed their studies within the Fingal region. Interested artists are encouraged to submit their applications via the official MART Gallery and Studios website before the deadline on 2 October 2026.
