A brand-new festival experience will come to County Carlow this Halloween weekend as The Big Barn Bash makes its debut at Coppenagh House Farm on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026. Taking place from 11.00am to 5.00pm daily, the event will bring together the very best of local food culture, family entertainment, outdoor pursuits, and farming heritage in one exciting setting.
Visitors will enjoy live cookery demonstrations featuring renowned chefs Rachel Allen, Edward Hayden, and presenter Deric Ó hArtagáin. The festival will also feature a vibrant artisan food zone showcasing local producers, family-friendly activities in the active zone, and a dedicated kids experience packed with farm-themed fun. In addition, the inaugural Coppenagh Coo 5km Carlow Chase will kick off the weekend in style for runners and walkers, with participants wearing official medals receiving free admission.
Ticket pricing is set at €40 for a family ticket covering two adults and two children, €15 for adults, and €10 for children, while little ones under three can enter for free.
