Dublin Bus has announced a temporary diversion affecting route 6 on 30 November 2026. This adjustment is necessary due to roadworks taking place on Shielmartin Road, which will prevent buses from serving Strand Road, St Fintan's Road, and Shielmartin Road itself.
The disruption will occur between 09:30 and 14:00, during which time bus stops numbered 680 through 692, with the exception of 687, will not be served. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and seek alternative stops or routes where possible.
For further information, customers can refer to updates available on the official Dublin Bus website or contact customer service. The company appreciates travellers’ patience and understanding while these essential maintenance works are completed.
